Bionics Microwave Technology
Aina Koa Pono, MELE Associates, Inc. and TekGar LLC have combined TCDP with the independent cracking and depolymerization abilities of certain high frequency microwaves. The result and a huge leap forward is now known as Microwave Depolymerization or MWDP.
With the use of proprietary catalysts, this allows the development of highly efficient and economical MWDP plants for the synthetic production of clean liquid fuel products from biomass and waste which can now be used in today’s engines without any modifications.
Catalyst Mechanism
At a process temperature of approx. 280°C the catalyst used starts cracking the hydro carbon molecules contained in the feedstock into shorter molecular chains with the typical properties of diesel fuel and biochar
The remaining residues form a sterile sludge containing mainly carbon and inorganic substances originally present in the feedstock like minerals and salts. Some of those materials can be further processed into fertilizers.
The key differentials in our process as opposed to other known technologies is that we have a closed loop, low temperature, ZERO emission system. The end products are : synthetic diesel, bio-char, salts and distilled water
